Hair Stylist in Northern Va.

Our Hair Stylists will be expected to consult with customers on their hair needs, recommend professional hair care services and products. They will deliver quality technical service with emphasis on the customer’s total look and be responsible for building their clientele through referrals and utilizing promotional materials available, while following all company policies and procedures.

Our Continuing Education system gives you the necessary tools, business building training and the support to grow your skills and your earnings. ROY & W Salons offer three convenient Northern Virginia locations (Fairfax, Fair Lakes and Burke) along with a competitive compensation and benefits package. We are actively seeking licensed cosmetologists with a passion for creating customized looks for their clients that have been personally tailored to suit their wants and needs.

Essential performance functions include, but are not limited to:

– Acknowledge and greet all guests and offer friendly, prompt, and courteous service

– Utilize salon-provided education to prescribe professional salon products to all salon guests

– Meet or exceed all individual sales and productivity goals

– Attend all mandatory education events and workshops

– Assist in salon duties (e.g., filling Salon retail displays and shelves, folding towels)

– Adhere to ROY & W Salon standards for guest service and cleanliness

– Adhere to salon dress code, maintaining personal hygiene along with hair color and style

Experience we are seeking:

– Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetology license

– Proficiency with latest salon techniques

– Proficiency with use of equipment needed to perform technical work

– Developed communication skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

Looking for a career in the hair Salon industry? We offer Cosmetology Apprenticeships at our Reflections of You Salons in Northern Va.

Joining Reflections of You salon as an apprentice means you get to start learning and earning right away. We offer genuine career opportunities for the right applicants.

You will be taught all aspects of hairdressing with both practical and theory sessions. These include hair cutting, hair styling, all aspects of hair coloring, balayage, health & safety and customer service.

You will learn new skills, develop creatively and work with a variety of people, to give you an excellent kick-start to an exciting career.
